In RE, we have been learning about what ‘peace’ means to us and what it looks and feels like. We used various crafts and building materials to construct our own ‘ Peace Garden’. We decided that lots of greenery and water creates a peaceful atmosphere. Would you like to join us?

Foxes Class had a fun filled afternoon taking part in lots of different sporting activities on Monday. They enjoyed working as a team to complete an obstacle race, jumping in sacks, throwing a ‘welly’ and scoring football goals. The sweltering heat did not stop us from having fun. We were all awarded a gold medal and some well-deserved refreshments afterwards. Well done everyone!

Foxes Class were very fortunate to visit the Life Education Bus this week. With the help of Harold the giraffe, we talked about how to stay healthy. He told us that we need to eat 5 pieces of fruit or vegetables a day, brush our teeth twice a day, exercise regularly and have plenty of sleep. We will certainly pass on this great advice to all our family too!

Foxes Class thoroughly enjoyed a visit from Brock’s daddy and his amazing pets. We saw lots of snakes, a gecko and Fluffy the very big spider! We loved touching the creatures, but had to be very gentle in case we frightened them. We asked lots of interesting questions and found out so many fantastic facts. We can’t wait to tell our adults at home what we want for our next birthday present!

Foxes Class enjoyed a wonderful trip to Woburn Safari Park. First we embarked on the road safari and spotted all the amazing big animals such as elephants, lions, tigers and giraffes. Our favourite part was when the cheeky monkeys jumped on top of the coach. We could hear their little feet scampering above our heads! The train ride was so relaxing as we admired the beautiful views. We can’t wait to learn more about these terrific animals in class.
